Project Management: Volunteer Recruitment

In February 2021, our cross-functional team launched a Volunteer Recruitment campaign to attract new alumni into our talent pool for a variety of roles. The team consisted of 3 members of our alumni engagement team and 4 members of our marketing team to conceptualize and execute a multi-month digital campaign.
I served as the project manager, leading weekly check-ins, setting deadlines, delegating tasks, and overseeing content and design. The first touchpoint was an automated email journey, leading our target audience through a variety of emails based on their action (opens and button clicks). I edited the email copy to make sure all content was on brand and my team created a strong visual identity to capture attention.
The second part of the campaign will be focused on storytelling, interviewing current alumni volunteers around the world.
